Isle of Ely Primary School is a calm, spacious and ambitious school for children aged 3 to 11, serving the growing community to the north of Ely. Our purpose-built site gives children room to learn, play and grow, while high-quality teaching and strong academic foundations help them feel settled, confident and ready to achieve their best. 

We want every child to feel safe, supported and happy at Isle of Ely, because we know that is ultimately what gives them the confidence to make the most of their learning. Our classrooms are filled with a willingness to learn and a strong sense of respect for one another.  Together with clear expectations, these qualities help create a calm atmosphere in which everyone can focus, work hard and take pride in what they achieve. 

We always encourage families considering Isle of Ely to come and see the school for themselves. The school has a bright and spacious feel, with generous classrooms and shared areas that make the space feel open and welcoming. At the heart of the school sits a spacious, open library, while outside, a large field and forest school area provide plenty of room for learning, play and wider experiences as children grow and develop.   

We want children to enjoy their time at Isle of Ely and to achieve well. We see it as our job to keep strengthening the learning experience, helping pupils to get the most from their time with us and encouraging them to expect more of themselves. Our aim is for children to leave Isle of Ely well prepared for the next stage of their education and ready to approach whatever comes next with confidence, curiosity and ambition.
